Filtering mobile search results

This section includes information about the new Fuse search. If you are currently using Fuse's legacy search, see Legacy search.

Filters can be applied to search results on the mobile app, to refine them and make them more relevant. The Filter popup allows you to filter by item type, so that the results only display certain items, as well as sort by popularity, recency and relevancy.

For information on how to apply filters in the browser version of Fuse, see Filtering search results.

To access the search filters, tap the Filters dropdown above the search results.

Filtering by type

The Type list in the Filter dropdown contains a list of item types. Selecting one or more types automatically filters the search results to only display those types. For example, if you select the Articles checkbox, the results filter down to only show articles that match your search query.

To filter search results by type:

  1. Expand the Type option in the Filters dropdown, to reveal a list of available item types.

    A list of types appears.

  2. Select one or more item types.

The search results are filtered to only show the selected item types.

To clear a currently selected filter option, you can:

    • Deselect the checkbox next to it in the Filters dropdown.

    • Tap the x next to the selected option above the search results.
