A formal way of testing a user's knowledge. A scored assessment in which the user is given a final mark at the end. Formal assessments consist of multiple-choice questions, with either one or many correct answers that can be marked by the system. Admins can limit the number of times a formal assessment can be taken, as well as set an expiry date by which the assessment must be completed. Once a user has finished viewing a topic, they must take the formal assessment by clicking the Take formal assessment button on the topic homepage.
Survey
A way of gathering feedback from users about a topic. A "Take Survey" button will appear when the user has finished viewing the topic, prompting them to take the survey.
Comprehension
A way of testing a user's basic understanding of a topic. Comprehension assessments must be signed off by a Fuse admin, community admin, or the user's manager once the user has completed them.
