  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap the search icon.

    The search bar appears. 
  2. Tap inside the search bar and enter your query.

     Only certain special characters are supported when searching in Fuse. If you enter unsupported special characters, Fuse automatically removes them from the query. For a list of supported special characters, see here.


  3. Tap the search icon or tap Search on the keyboard of your mobile device. 
    A list of available content is returned.

    In some cases, if Fuse perceives that the entered phrase or keyword contains spelling errors, Fuse automatically searches for the correct spelling. You can quickly switch back to the originally entered spelling by tapping it.

  4. ([Optional) ] If necessary, you can apply filters to narrow down the search results.
    To apply filters:
    1. Tap Filters

      The Filter dropdown appears. 
    2. Expand a type or category and select the appropriate filter(s). 

      The search results automatically narrow down based on the selected filters. 
  5. When you have found the item you are looking for, tap on it to view it.

    To clear a currently selected filter option, you can:

    • Deselect the checkbox next to it in the Filters dropdown.


    • Tap the x next to the selected option above the search results.

  • Event: Filters the search results to only show events, including a list of occurrences within each event.
  • Host: Filters to show events with a particular host, in this case a host called John Smith.
  • Location: Filters to only show events taking place at a specific location, in this case Excel Centre.
  • TagsApplies any preexisting tags, for example, Fuse might apply tags for Health, Safety, and Health and Safety.
