Adding Go1 courses to Fuse

Before your Go1 courses are available in Fuse, you must select and then map them to some existing Fuse communities.

To add Go1 courses to Fuse communities, you must do the following:

1. Add content to your Go1 library

Before they can be made available in Fuse communities, you must select the Go1 courses and add them to your Go1 library.

To add content to your Go1 library:

  1. Log in to the Go1 portal using your Go1 credentials.

  2. In the top right-hand corner, click your profile image.

  3. From the dropdown, click Content.

    The content library appears.

  4. Search for courses that you want Fuse users to access. For example, you might search for courses related to ‘climate’.

  5. Select the checkbox next to each courses you want to add.

  6. Click Add selection to…

  7. Click My Library.

    The courses are added to the library.

2. Add the courses to Fuse communities

Add the selected courses from your Go1 library, to one or more communities in which you are admin. This is done using a middleware portal which you are given access to when the integration is set up.

To add Go1 courses to Fuse communities:

  1. Go to the login screen for the middleware and enter your Go1 email address, password, and the URL of the Go1 portal which houses your library.

  2. Click Log In.

  3. On the left-hand side, click Connections.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Enter your username and password for the Fuse instance in which you are adding Go1 content.

  6. Click Connect.

  7. On the left-hand side of the screen, click Sync courses.

    The Courses screen appears, displaying all the Go1 courses that you have added to your Go1 library.

  8. Select the checkbox next to one or more courses in the list.

  9. From the Add Community dropdown, select the Fuse community this course will be added to. You can only select communities where you are an admin.

  10. Click Sync.

    The selected courses are synced with the community and you are notified once they are available. You will receive an email confirmation once the sync has completed. If a course fails to sync, you will be informed in the email. If a course fails to sync, you can return to the Courses screen and attempt to sync it again.

Opening Go1 courses in Fuse

Once a Go1 course has synced successfully, it is available to members of the community, including in widgets and feeds.

The default course thumbnail is displayed on all Go1 courses in Fuse. This is the same default thumbnail shown on SCORM courses.
