A formal way of testing a user's knowledge. A A formal scored assessment in which the user is given a final mark at the end. Formal assessments consist of multiple-choice questions, with either one or many correct answers that can be marked by the system. Admins can limit the number of times a formal assessment can be taken, as well as set an expiry date by which the assessment must be completed. Once a Once a user has finished viewing a topic, they must take the formal assessment by clicking the Take formal assessment button on the topic homepage.
