Searching for content by typing a keyword or phrase
To search for content by typing a keyword, phrase or question:
- Click the Fuse Flow icon.
The Fuse Flow popup appears. - In the Ask any question... search bar, enter a keyword, phrase or question.
- Click the Search icon or press the Enter key.
A list of matching items is returned. - You can navigate back and forward between results pages, by scrolling to the bottom of the popup, and clicking the Prev and Next buttons.
When you have found the item you are looking for, click on it.
The item opens in Fuse.The content opens in a new browser window or new tab, depending the option selected in the Open content in field on the Options screen.
Searching for content verbally
You can search for content verbally in Fuse Flow.
Please take note of the following:
- Your computer must have a microphone enabled.
- Voice search is not available on web pages that already include a voice search feature, such as Google.
- You must give permission for Fuse to access your microphone.
Fuse does not store recordings of voices searches made in Fuse Flow, Fuse only receives the resulting text.
To search for content verbally:
- Click the Fuse Flow icon.
The Fuse Flow popup appears. In the Ask any question... search bar, click the Click and ask a question icon.
The icon turns blue.
Say your phrase, keyword or question and it appears in the search bar.
You can change the language of your voice search using the Voice Language dropdown on the Options screen.
A list of matching items is returned.
Click on an item to open it in Fuse.
You can navigate back and forth between results pages, by scrolling to the bottom of the popup, and clicking the Prev and Next buttons.
Searching for content by highlighting text
You can highlight a piece of text in the webpage you are currently viewing and search for it using Fuse Flow.
To do this:
- Highlight some text on the page.
- Click the Fuse Flow icon.
Fuse Flow returns a list of content related to the highlighted text.
