The featured content carousel is used to display items of content that an organisation thinks is important and that users should see, such as questions, videos, links, files, topics, and articles.
The carousel is configured in two different places depending on where you want to display it:
Featured content section in Community admin screen: This screen allows community admins to add a featured content carousel to community landing pages on desktop.
Featured content screen in the Admin Panel: This screen allows Fuse admins to add a featured content carousel to the Fuse homepage on desktop, and at the top of the main content feed on the Fuse mobile app.
Carousel on desktop
The desktop version of the carousel can be displayed at the top of the main Fuse homepage and on community landing pages. On the desktop version, each item scrolls automatically and is displayed at timed intervals.
Carousel on the mobile app
The mobile version of the carousel can be displayed at the top of the main content feed only, and is not available for communities on the mobile app. Content displayed on the mobile version of the carousel does not scroll automatically, meaning users must manually swipe to view each item.
