A formal scored assessment in which the user is given a final mark at the end. Formal assessments consist of multiple-choice questions, with either one or many correct answers that can be marked by the system. Once a user has finished viewing a topic, they must take the formal assessment by clicking the Take formal assessment button on the topic homepage.

Only formal assessments can be taken on the Fuse mobile app. All other assessment types must be taken in the browser.
