The AI configuration screen in the Admin Panel enables you to specify which communities AI-generated answers will be sourced from. Once this has been set up, if a user enters a query in the platform’s search bar, an AI-generated summary or answer will be presented at the top of the search results, sourced from content in the specified communities, as long as:
An applicable or relevant answer can be found within the content in those communities
The user has permission to see and access the specified communities and content within them
A user will only see answers sourced from content an communities they have access to. If the user doesn’t have access to one of the specified communities and the content within it, an answer won’t be generated based on that.
Within each answer, you will see links to the original source content, allowing you to click through to the original item of content on the platform so that you can both verify the answer and view the content in full:
Source communities
In the Source communities tab, you can add communities so that the content inside them is used as a source for AI-generated answers, as well as remove selected communities as sources.
