An informal assessment allows a user to causally test their knowledge and see their results before participating in a formal assessment. Users can take an informal assessment for a particular chapter or item of content by clicking the Test yourself icon next to it. They are then presented with the attached questions, which they can answer.

For information on how to create an informal assessment, see Creating an informal assessment

Informal assessments are not available in the Fuse mobile app and must be taken in the browser.

Users can click the Test yourself icon next to the chapter or item of content, to answer questions.

If a user fails to answer a question correctly, they take the question again by clicking the Try again? icon next to the item of content

Informal is the only assessment type selected in a topic by default.
