A user is notified that they’ve been assigned to a learning plan:

You now have access to the following learning plan: %{course_name}. Check the learning plan for more details.

If the user has a registered email address, they also receive a matching email in their inbox:

This notification is triggered as soon as a user is assigned to the learning plan via the Visibility tab in the Learning plan editor/creator screen, and the Enable learning plan assignment notification is enabled in the General tab.

For example: If a user is assigned to a learning plan because all members of the community have been assigned, they are one of the specific community members that has specifically been assigned, or they are a member of an audience that has been assigned.

The user must click the link in the notification or email to start the learning plan.

A user is notified that the deadline for the learning plan is approaching:

%{course_name} has a deadline in %{period} days

If the user has a registered email address, they also receive a matching email in their inbox:

This notification is sent as a reminder that the user has a certain number of days left to complete the learning plan before it expires.

This notification will be sent if the When learning plan becomes accessible, the user has [#] days to complete setting is configured in the Expiry tab of the learning plan editor.

You can also set how frequently these notifications are sent out using the Before deadline/expiry settings:

A user is notified that they’ve missed the learning plan deadline:

You have missed the deadline for %{course_name}

If the user has a registered email address, they also receive a matching email in their inbox:

This notification is automatically sent as soon as the user misses the deadline, set in the Deadline section of the Expiry tab.

If the following settings are configured and the following deadline-specific settings are configured, and a user misses the deadline for the learning plan, the notification will be triggered:

• All users needs to complete this learning plan by [date]

• Upon the user clicking "Start" on the learning plan, the user has [#] days to complete

• When learning plan becomes accessible, the user has [#] days to complete
  

This notification is sent weekly after the user misses the deadline (CURRENTLY TESTING TO SEE)

The user is notified that the learning plan is due to expire:

%{course_name} will expire in %{period} days

The frequency of this notification seems to be controlled by the Before deadline/expiry settings here:

The learning plan has expired:

%{course_name} has now expired

If the user has a registered email address, they also receive a matching email in their inbox:

This notification appears if the user has not completed the learning plan by the expiry date set in the Upon completion the learning plan is valid for [#] days. Reset user progression [#] days before expire setting in the Expiry tab.

The user is notified that the learning plan has been reset after completion:

Your progress for %{course_name} has now reset, you have %{days_to_expire} days before it expires

If the user has a registered email address, they also receive a matching email in their inbox:

This notification is triggered when the user has completed the learning plan and it has now reset after the set period and they must re-complete it again. This notification only appears if a reset has been configured for the learning plan in the Expiry section of the Expiry tab in the learning plan editor screen, and the user has completed the learning plan.
