The following insights are shown:

InsightDescription
Most Engaged

Shows the top 10 most engaged communities, based on the total number of engagements. These are communities where members have a high rate of commenting on content, liking content, posting questions, and sharing content. The community with the highest number of engagements in total, appears at the top of the list.

In the example below, users in the Fuse Global Internal community engaged the most through commenting, liking and sharing content, as well as posting questions, over the defined period. This means the community has amassed the highest number of engagements, placing them at the top of the list with a total score of 298.

The following columns are present on the table:

  • Total: The total number of engagements that have occurred in the community. This is calculated by adding together the scores in the Comments, Likes, Shares, and Questions columns.
  • Comments: The total number of comments posted in the community.
  • Likes: The total number of times users have liked an item of content in the community.
  • Shares: The total number of times users have shared content in the community.
  • Questions: The total number of times users have posted questions in the community.
  • Members: How many members are in the community.

Example:

The size of community greatly affects how active its participants are, due to a psychological term called "shared responsibility”. Generally speaking, bigger communities are more silent. If this becomes an issue, consider reducing the size of your communities or limiting the number of global communities, so that membership numbers are smaller and therefore participants are more likely to engage.

Most Social

Shows the top 10 most sociable communities. These are communities with high levels of users posting questions and commenting on content, based on the highest number of comments posted.

The following columns are present on the table:

  • Community: The name of the community.
  • Comments: The total number of comments posted by users in the community.
  • Questions:  The total number of questions posted by users in the community.
