Fuse4 Beta
This is our Fuse4 Beta, which we will be updating regularly. Once fully released, it will provide a vastly improved platform that is modern, intuitive, and easy to use, with new navigation, screens, and updated functionality.
Some of the key improvements and changes that come with Fuse4 are as follows:
New navigation
We’ve introduced a new navigation in the form of an expandable and collapsable side navigation that offers a familiar user interface similar to popular apps, significantly reducing the learning curve and displaying all available features in an intuitive manner.
You screen
In Fuse4, we’re laying the groundwork for the "You" screen, which will evolve into a key destination for users seeking clarity and direction in their learning journey. This screen centralises all personalised content, including assigned learning plans, upcoming events and communities, and easy access to relevant content.
History and saved items
We’ve moved the history feature out of the profile screen and into its own dedicated section on the side navigation. Additionally, we recognised that users frequently used the favourites icon and wished for more flexibility beyond 20 items. Now, you will have a dedicated screen to view and manage all saved items. This will lay the groundwork for further additions and improvements, such as allowing users to build their own playlists and more in the future.
Save useful and important items
You can now quickly and conveniently save an item that is useful or important to you by clicking the Save icon on it. Save communities, topics, learning plans, events, and content that you regularly interact with, and they'll appear in the Saved screen so that you always know where they are.
Search in context
We’ve emphasised contextual searching by relocating the global search to the side navigation, creating a cleaner experience. For example, when viewing learning plans, you can now search and filter results specific to that context without confusion. Furthermore, we’re making search its own dedicated screen, allowing you to easily find answers and explore content such as events, learning plans, and experts.
New landing pages for communities, topics, learning plans, and events: We've rebuilt the landing pages for communities, topics, learning plans, and events. These include sleek new cards and thumbnails, and now you can search through each respective landing page using the in-page search bar, apply filters, and, for communities, topics and events, create them via the landing page.
Optimised screen space
Fuse4 supports different device sizes and can be easily viewed on desktop, smart phones, tablets and other devices.
