Udemy for Business
Note: These steps are related to our Udemy smart connector. If you are using our legacy Udemy search connector, see Udemy for Business search connector.
As part of the implementation of your Udemy for Business connector, Fuse requires you to retrieve some credentials from Udemy, including creating an integrations app, locating your subdomain, and locating your Udemy Business account ID. Once you have done this, the implementation team will ask you for these in order to progress with the implementation of your connector.
Create an integrations app
Log into Udemy.
Navigate to LMX/LXP Integrations.
On the left-hand Admin tools menu, click Settings.
From the dropdown menu, select LMX/LXP Integrations.
Click Start Setup, and from the dropdown, select Other.
Toggle Auto enrolment to On.
Click Save.
Copy and paste the client ID and Client secret and store them somewhere safe, as Fuse will ask for these later in order to progress with your connector implementation.
Locating the company subdomain
Log in to your Udemy Business dashboard.
Your company subdomain can be found in the address bar. For example, if your URL is mycompany.udemy.com, your company subdomain will be mycompany. Copy and paste this somewhere safe, as Fuse will ask for this later in order to progress with your connector implementation.
Locating your account ID
Log in to your Udemy Business dashboard.
Navigate to Manage > Settings > API > API Documentation.
Scroll down to the Your API Client and Your Account Id section and locate your Udemy Business Account ID. Copy and paste this somewhere safe, as Fuse will ask for these later in order to progress with your connector implementation.
